With the current pandemic hitting our world right now, forcing us to be in the state of lockdown, Pokémon Snap is perhaps the escape we direly need right now. Pokémon Snap let us travel to the islands that make up the Lental region. The actual flight we need from reality. This game will be available for the Nintendo Switch platform this 30th April 2021.
Pokémon Snap was continuing the sequel from the N64 classic into Nintendo Switch. You will photograph lively wild Pokémon in their natural habitats while researching and exploring the islands in this game. You will travel around the islands via your travel pod through various environments such as beaches, jungles and deserts to capture all Pokémon behaviours. All of the photos that you take will automatically fill your Photodex.
In order to make things even more interesting, your photos are scored based on the Pokémon poses, how directly they are facing you, the distances and many other factors. Pokémon Snap also introduces some new mechanics, such as sharing your photos online. Plus, with your photos score, you can now complete it with other players across the globe.
Apart from taking photos, you will meet with Professor Mirror and help him uncover the Illumina Phenomenon mystery. Professor Mirror and his assistant is the region’s Pokémon expert. All your photos will be the key to learn about this strange occurrence.
