Monster Hunter Rise Nintendo Switch

After waiting patiently for almost three years, the Monster Hunter franchise finally returns to Nintendo with its new entry, Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter World proves to bring a huge success, bringing Monster Hunter to a bigger audience in the Western community. The world was a great game, and Capcom clearly makes the right direction with it.

And now, where Monster Hunter Rise comes in. It’s a Nintendo Switch exclusive game that builds upon the Monster Hunter World advances. And yes, Monster Hunter Rise is not a switch port for Monster Hunter World. Instead, it’s better!

Almost all of what made Monster Hunter World a considerable leap forward is already in Monster Hunter Rise. The character models and monster look very closely to Monster Hunter World. Capcom did such a fantastic job preserving Monster Hunter World’s essence and style on less powerful hardware. And even more than that, they evolve the formula further for Monster Hunter Rise to perfectly suit Nintendo Switch.

Monster Hunter Rise New Features

The most significant differences you feel while playing Monster Hunter Rise are the environment. It feels more like an old – school Monster Hunter games with less elaborate designs and fewer graphical like dense foliage. The subsections of the map in Monster Hunter Rise plays similarly to Monster Hunter World’s, which aren’t broken up by loading screens.

Another significant feature in Monster Hunter Rise is these two new elements; a pet dog called a Palamute that joins in battle, lets you ride on its back, and a tool called Wirebug to zip up walls hop into monsters.

In Monster Hunter Rise, players can bring along a pet dog called a Malamute. This new partner adds some exciting variety to the game, and it’s also perfectly designed to become an Amiibo in the future.

While the other most prominent mechanic in Monster Hunter Rise is the new Wirebug feature. It might sound similar to Monter Hunter World’s Slinger, which allows hunters to grapple around locations. However, Wirebug is more than that. Wirebug plays a vital role in Monster Hunter Rise, which contribute to the game’s name. It offers a high degree of mobility and allows players to perform what is almost a double jump function. Plus, it also can even be used in combat providing new combos and speeding the game’s pace.

Monster Hunter Rise definitely a solid package in terms of its content. There are tons of monsters to hunt, and the variety is more comprehensive than what Monster Hunter World offered, with several old favorites and some imaginative new designs.

One of the main joys of playing Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch is it allows you to play whenever you are, thanks to its portability. Monster Hunter always has its own charm that attracted its fans, and Monster Hunter Rise is no exception.
